Week 9 Day 6: I love you, I love you!

Last night Beetle disappeared on Agnes at the Maccaroni Mine. When Agnes ran across the open landscape, she should have seen him, but no. This morning when she woke up, Beetle was sitting on the floor, next to her bed. When she got up, he became alive.

When she asked about yesterday, he refused to answer, or - he answered in ways that Agnes could not understand. She decided to deal with it later. She is very fond of Beetle and can't bare the thought of losing him.

When Beetle suggested that he could become a person like her on her birthday tonight, Agnes was thrilled! He would need a serum, but he had noticed that Agnes' sister-in-law Dorothy, had talked about making serums at the Health Center. It was very early in the morning when they walked over to the Health Center, to check it out before Dorothy would start working.

Agnes moved a ladder and climbed up, but it was very difficult to balance. And she was too nervous that she could drop the serum and spoiling their chance completely.

In her pocket, a serum to make Beetle real! If it worked like he insisted. It all sounded too fantastic to be true!

A few hours later, over at 4 Black Heights, not far from the mine, Bella and Christopher Black were getting ready to attend an important meeting...

Bella is a shy person, but she has shown more than once that she has the guts to speak up.

Over at 3 Greench Farm, this day will make the beginning of a new era... the poor era. Archie Greench and his brother Cody were working and discussing the Roger's Light party.

Although the Greench family originally got lots of land, the brothers had to leave most of the land to their siblings in order to keep the Greench Farm. They only have one additional small residential lot each.

Unfortunately, Archie couldn't make it, but he didn't tell Cody in clear words. The total value was more than §33.000, and Archie had to pay §16.662 to Cody. The household already had a bank loan of a few thousand, and there is a bank loan limit of §10.000 per household. The limit has effect only on the first day of a new week, so Archie borrowed more than he should - hoping to pay back some within the two remaining days.

Over at the horse Pepper's simple stable, Graica tried to build acceptance with the horse.

After selling today's harvest, and getting the loan, Archie had to tell his brother.

Archie wanted Cody to have Archie's remaining land at 1 Greench Farm, as part of the pay, but wanted to make a deal that Archie could buy it back within 14 simdays.

A little later the 4 Village Council members were gathered in the Village Hall at 1 Yea-Low Ring.

To Randal Redward's excuse, he has got the Star Quality trait after his mom, Rita.

The reactions so far were mixed...

Randal's Father, Roger Redward, had started accusing Joe Hawk for stealing stuff from the warehouse. Roger died before putting his plan into action.

Why all this fuss about a prison? Were Randal up to something?

The meeting was over, and Bella and Christopher were quit happy with the result. First part of Christopher's revenge over his siblings was completed! I'll explain this a bit more detailed in the next chapter.

Archie took his time in the meeting room, he wanted a word with Randal Redward.

It was not getting dark quite yet, but up at the mine the light was dimmed by the fog. Agnes and Beetle had agreed to meet there, to plan their birthday. When Agnes arrived she couldn't see Beetle anywhere...

Then, suddenly, out from nowhere!

Agnes finger tip had turned all black! (this actually happened, the picture is not manipulated!). It reminded of the black spots she used to get on her skin as a child, those her mom Yvonne had thought were black insect eggs.

No wonder Agnes was confused, most girls would have been...

A little weird chapter, I know. But it had to be told exactly as it happened.
