Welcome to SimBasic - a community legacy!

What happened next? Find out in the Greench Farm legacy!

4 couples stranded and founded a new community on Maccaroni Island. Currently the 3rd generation is about to start new families! This is a Sims3 community legacy that has been updated frequently for a full year, and contains about 100 chapters! Late July 2012 it came to an end and a new spin-off legacy focusing on just one of these households will bring the story forward, starting August 15, 2012.

The very first post is here, or use the Blog Archive to look back. Posts describing the project are tagged *. Please see the interactive map for household bios and family trees. Comments are welcome both here on the blog and on the SimBasic thread at the thesims3 forum. Even if there won't be more updates, I will still read your commnts.

Find all my stories and Sims projects gathered at my blog, Simmerville's Sims :)

I hope you will enjoy the read! :-)

Week 1 Day 4 - Privacy finally

Yesterday Greta and Gabriel Greench moved to establish their own little home, and it will naturally be a lot easier to manage only 6 sims on the beach. Today another couple might move on, depending on what the ocean has left on the beach this morning.

 And Rita has been thinking...

In the hut, Yvonne was rereading a not too interesting book for the 5th time. She kept rolling a wish to buy a washing machine, a fridge and a stove. Dream on, Yvonne...

Finally there was some new items at Roger's "beach store".
Roger was away, and Rita made a quick decission. She removed the items that were already shared. They were put on the sand, meaning everything on the table was now available.
At noon they all gathered in the hut.

East and west, beach and far off the beach. Might be time to draw a map...

And they agreed to leave the beach plants to anyone who needs to harvest them. Then they had a last fishy dinner before they all went off to build a new shelter for Bianca and Bolan Blumington.
(Today I noticed that there is actually a ribbon in Bianca's hair, it used to be as blond as her hair, but now it's as blue as the rest of her.)
The shelter turned out rather small, but with a stunning view to the ocean, and no need for air condition (ah, no electricity, I forgot...). They even were able to decorate the wall.

With such a great view to the ocean you would've cuddled on the bed, too!
So, they walked back to the beach to roast some fish. It turned out Bolan couldn't even give a fish to Bianca while they are not on their home lot, so she had to eat a few marshmallows instead. It seems difficult to give fish to the others. The beach is still a residential lot though, will check again when it turns community lot.
Yespar found some old stuff in the sand and started excavating. Thought it was no longer possible, but was proven all wrong...

While the wild animals hunt near by, day 4 comes to an end. To be continued in 2 days.
