Welcome to SimBasic - a community legacy!

What happened next? Find out in the Greench Farm legacy!

4 couples stranded and founded a new community on Maccaroni Island. Currently the 3rd generation is about to start new families! This is a Sims3 community legacy that has been updated frequently for a full year, and contains about 100 chapters! Late July 2012 it came to an end and a new spin-off legacy focusing on just one of these households will bring the story forward, starting August 15, 2012.

The very first post is here, or use the Blog Archive to look back. Posts describing the project are tagged *. Please see the interactive map for household bios and family trees. Comments are welcome both here on the blog and on the SimBasic thread at the thesims3 forum. Even if there won't be more updates, I will still read your commnts.

Find all my stories and Sims projects gathered at my blog, Simmerville's Sims :)

I hope you will enjoy the read! :-)

Week 1 Day 5 - Exploring the area

When Bianca and Bolan moved out, they rightfully took one of the two beds. So, back on the beach the night was kind of tough. But there is always some good luck...

Yvonne and Yespar left the hut, and Rita and Roger were finally on their own.
They jogged off the beach, to the west. To Rita everything looked the same.

Rita was satisfied, but at the same time she was a bit worried - was this the very best?

They just about made it back to the beach on time. Some of the others were waiting with a surprise...
They all walked off to the west, way further then Roger and Rita's jog this morning.
Dead trees never was a good thing, was it?

No tools makes it hard to produce just anything. Yvonne rushed to those plants.
But nothing to harvest right now. They better be back for some crops later.

Time for the big truth has come...

So, Greta returned alone, while the others started the climbing. 60 minutes later...
So, they are stranded on an island. There is water in all directions, but th fog hides whatever exists to the north - probably even more sea. Now, wouldn't it be wise taking shifts on this highest point, looking for any ship passing by? They didn't even think of that.

Later on they returned to build a shelter for Yvonne and Yespar Yea-Low. It's been a busy day.
After a quick rest, Yvonne searched the area for seeds. She didn't dare to walk far though.

Back on the beach, Roger and Rita were left to themselves.

It was pretty nice to be alone on the beach. In the distance they could hear Yvonne's snoring, but it blended in nicely with the sound of waves hitting the beach. Hopefully there will be enough plank tomorrow, so that the forth and last couple can move to a new shelter.

Another blog update in two days! :-)
