Welcome to SimBasic - a community legacy!

What happened next? Find out in the Greench Farm legacy!

4 couples stranded and founded a new community on Maccaroni Island. Currently the 3rd generation is about to start new families! This is a Sims3 community legacy that has been updated frequently for a full year, and contains about 100 chapters! Late July 2012 it came to an end and a new spin-off legacy focusing on just one of these households will bring the story forward, starting August 15, 2012.

The very first post is here, or use the Blog Archive to look back. Posts describing the project are tagged *. Please see the interactive map for household bios and family trees. Comments are welcome both here on the blog and on the SimBasic thread at the thesims3 forum. Even if there won't be more updates, I will still read your commnts.

Find all my stories and Sims projects gathered at my blog, Simmerville's Sims :)

I hope you will enjoy the read! :-)

Week 9 Day 1: The Village Council

On the first day of their 9th week, Roger Redward called over his son, Randal, and together they walked down to the headland, just west of Redward Heights. Roger's lighthouse was ready!

Roger Redward always insisted on being the head of their community.

Over at 9 Yea-Low Ring, Yoseph Yea-Low finally grew up to a young adult! He is dating Beatrice Greench, and she is also an adult now. They might establish a new home tomorrow.

Two days ago, it was decided that a Village Council would be founded. Each of the 4 residential regions had selected one representative, and today the 4 of them gathered at the Village Hall at 1 Yea-Low Ring. Randal Redward opened it all.

Everyone knew each other fairly well, what's the point of an introduction?

And in marched Roger Redward...

Oi, what was the shy Bella made of today?

Over at 3 Redward Heights, Consance R. Hamming's puppies have grown up. They looked nothing like Cairo, and Constance was a bit confused. How come she didn't see those other wild animals? Maybe Joe Hawk would know?

Constance is less focused on class than the other Redwards, but still, she needs to respect her Father.

Her twin sister, Dorothy R. Yea-Low, works most days at the Health Center. She has even tried to make extracts and medicine from herbs and more. But it's not very easy...

Back home at 1 Sunrise Valley, she and her husband, Alex, have a son, Reynar. They also got a female cat, Maggie, from Albert Blumington across the bridge.

They both had a busy day, and decided to eat their dinner at Greta's Bistro.

So, should they move in with Alex' dad and crazy sister?

More in about 3 days!

  1. Go Bella! Constance is such a sweetheart trying to keep the community a real community. If Alex & Dorothy move in with Yespar, will Agnes live with them or will he move, too?

  2. Hi there! Agnes is still just a teen, so she will reside with them at least until she grows up. If they move, Alex will still own the house he and Dorothy built at 1 Sunrise Valley. It's a lovely place, down there by the river, but the Yea-Low main house is on a much bigger lot (64x64) with a better view to the ocean. I think they will move...

PS: I forgot to tell why Bella was so focused on justice - and it's too late to edit the chapter, so I'll add it in the next chapter instead. She and Christopher had a talk, and Christopher has a plan... stay tuuned! :D
