- The bank has charged less interest from loans than ever, meaning there are more money out there. A couple loans are a little over the §10.000 limit, the council will debate an extra fee in one simweek.
- The new bakery is run well by Carie G. Peel.
- The beach has been upgraded a little, and yesterday's get together was a modest success, but still indicates that a community gathering on the last simday of the week is a routine to be considered.
- It was questioned whether the community shall attempt being rescued or not. The council don't see why they should be rescued.
- The local Pets Club has suggested that the remaining wild dogs are to be adopted by various households.
- A possible danger was mentioned, but the council had no reason to investigate it further.
With all that done with, it's time to find out what this new day brings...
It was very early in the morning, at 4 Yea-Low Ring.
Agnes Y. Jones Hawk resides here with her husband Joe Hawk, and her secret partner Beetle. It has become a problem to Agnes that Joe thinks she is his old girlfriend, Emmy, and Agnes is not very interested in getting intimate with him. Beetle is hiding out of the house most of the day, but is not interested in doing this much longer... Joe had just left the house to check on the wild dogs, he wants to find out what they obviously seek protection from. Agnes and Beetle had a talk in the kitchen - it's time for changes...
Need no more children? Agnes knew that all new couples were expected to have minimum 3 children, but she knew they could decide for themselves. There was no need of another child... so, practically they could get rid of Joe sometime soon.
Beetle liked the jail word!
They must have another child...?
Agnes and Beetle were not aware of Joe returning to pick up something. Passing the window he overheard it all...
Joe didn't like what he heard. Agnes was obviously talking of him. And the serum made him understand he had been tricked all the time. Amadeus wasn't his son? But all he wanted was a heir!
Not far from Agnes, on 9 Yea-Low Ring, Dorothy R. Yea-Low was getting ready to go for work at the Health Central. She had breakfast with her husband, Alex Yea-Low.
When Agnes married to elderly Joe Hawk, 3 men of her own generation were single and desperately hoping for a wife; Alfonso Blumington, LaShawn Greench and Cody G. Major. She still chose old Joe...
Dorothy left for work, Alex walked outside to produce some inventions before heading for the Village Council meeting. And old Yespar Yea-Low got ready for a secret excursion with his two same household grandsons, Reynar and Yesador.
We'll stay in the eastern region today. Down in the valley, at 5 Sunrise Valley, Beatrice and Yoseph had their first child, Evita. Although they go on fairly well, there seems to be arguments every day.
And Beatrice tried to stay calm, knowing Yoseph would argue...
Yes, Yoseph is a guy with certain mood swings...
Yoseph walked over to Redward Ranch which is located on the opposite side of the island.
Meanwhile, Yoseph's dad, Yespar Yea-Low had finally reached the top of Maccaroni Mountain, together with Reynar and Yesador. Reynar is the smart boy who suggested using mirrors to reflect sunlight, now he is a smart teenager instead of a smart boy.
Yespar didn't want to involve the community with this little project. He knew they would all be grateful if they made contact with the greater world.
I can't help thinking that Reynar Yea-Low reminds me of his uncle, Randal. Maybe a tad more complicated, though...
While Yoseph tried to buy a horse at Randal Redward's ranch, Beatrice tended their garden. She grew up at Greench Farm, and she has big ambitions of running a successful smaller farm here in the valley. Right now she realized they had no longer only one cat, but 3! Zoe just gave birth to 2 kittens, looking nothing like their mom. Beatrice was never interested in animals, all she could think of was how to give away those kittens...
Yoseph bought a horse! He got the oldest of those two foals born by Randal's first horse, long ago. This horse was since long a grown up, and Yoseph named him Moose. He thought he got a good deal - paying §1500 right away, and Randal Redward got the right to use Moose for breeding a mare, once in the future.
The stable was built, and with a few fences their house will surely take the looks of a small farm...
Back at 4 Yea-Low Ring, Agnes woke up! It was late, she normally didn't sleep at this time of day! Her head was aching, and she remembered nothing. Ouch, what had happened? She felt different...
Sleeping with makeup? And a new hairdo? What was going on?
She got out of bed, she felt dizzy. If Beetle was around he would know...
She didn't feel good at all! Her tummy... she felt like throwing up! Was this what she thought it was?
She walked into the living room to look for Beetle, or Joe, but nobody was there. Instead she found two empty coffee cups on the table, together with the black serum! Oh... no... what...?
Had someone abused her? Could she no longer trust anyone? If she only could remember a few moments, she would know who to distrust...!
A couple hours later, near midnight, Beetle was in the mine - reporting...
Just a little confused, I hope. Or maybe not confused at all. If you read all previous chapters you should see the pattern...
