Word had not spread to Joe Hawk yet. He has aged, but everything else is unchanged. He lives in the western region, near the mountain on a tiny lot a bit off the road. He hasn't improved his shed, although he did save up some simoleons from working at the Consignment store for a while. His old parrot Emmy is still around, and the wild dogs are doing okay.
Dooshee and Mathilda could try for puppies again, but because they have no house, they have fleas most of the time, might be a reason why they only get irritable when trying for more puppies. Joe is an Animal lover, he would like to secure at least one puppy before Mathilda gets too old.
That was exactly what Roger wanted to hear... Right down from their home, was the headland where Roger had tried to make a bonfire to signalize back to the others that he was safe and alive. When the matches were gone, he took a while to make fire, and that was when the others waiting on the smaller island, thought he had not survived the first 24 hours on Maccaroni.
Over at 3 Blumington Road, also Bolan now needs a cane to walk. He hardly visits the pond to fish, and it's also too far walking down to the sea.
Bolan dreamed of building ponds in his garden, stocking it with fish, and spend more time fishing and less time walking. But as he dug the first pond, they decided to move up north. And up here, he never got to digging anything. Now Alfonso was interested in taking up this plan, but in a more community friendly way.
The moon was up already, and Bianca had been walking for hours. She felt sorry for Joe Hawk, everyone talked about him in some way, now Albert even said the lonely man was suspected for stealing from the Warehouse. Why didn't they visit him before? Bianca had talked a little with Joe at the Consignment store, when she was at the Gallery anyway, but that was already long ago. She thought that to prevent crimes, it was important to involve everyone.
Bianca is normally rather shy, but now that she is very old (95), she was less afraid because there wasn't really a lot to risk. Whatever happened would happen. If she made a fool of herself, so what.
Joe was at home, and so were his wild dogs.
And they walked inside Joe's little shed. Few years earlier Bianca would not have dared, but now she really wanted to get to know Joe Hawk some better.
Well, maybe Joe never met Agnes? Now that Agnes' mom is dead, could it happen...?
At 4 Greench Farm, Carie Greench's place, Greta was about to serve some lovely salad when Carie walked in. Carie had been out, and wasn't expected home quite yet.
Archie and Bridgette got a cat from the same household, but a previous litter.
Albert Blumington, the Sculptor, had been dating Carie for a short while only, but they are both interested in animals, and found they share other interests, too.
At 3 Blumington Road, Bolan and Bianca were right outside their home. In the distance is Black Heights, that's where their daughter Bella moved with Christopher Redward. Most likely Bella will take Bianca's maiden name, Black.
Yes, Bella and Christopher at 4 Black Heights have been slow. They didn't seem to find the guts to get those sparkles going. Their relation had been greatly improved, but Christopher was still sleeping outdoor.
But tonight something happened. It was like a stream of good wishes hit them, and before they could avoid it, they were kissing devotedly.
Tonight they got engaged, and for the first time Bella invited Christopher to come sleep with her!
To be continued in 2 days!
New romances blooming, yay! And I'm still curious about the curse.
ReplyDeleteSigh, poor Yvonne. Those stupid evil bugs!
ReplyDeleteNow I feel really bad for Joe. I always thought he was scummy, but now I know he just wanted a love of his own. Still, pestering founders for their daughters isn't exactly the best way to go about it, lol.
Aww, Bella and Christopher are so sweet together. :)
Thanks Cheesy and figen, it's so cool to see you are still reading :D
ReplyDeleteBtw, tomorrow's update is in the works, but seems to be delayed for one day... Good news; next chapter will have more daylight, lol :D
Oh... a teaser --- another elderly sim died last night ;(
ReplyDeleteI hope Roger's plan fails miserably and that he gets caught in the act! That ought to take the Redwards down a peg or two.
ReplyDeleteI am also curious about the curse - looking foward to the next chapter.
