Most mornings Bolan Blumington heads for the fishing spot east of the village. He is still planning to build a pond closer to the home, but he wants to collect enough fish first. They must be of the same sort, and the better quality of the stocked fish, the better result when fishing from the pond.
The house has been slightly expanded again. All the kids share one bedroom still, but it's larger and the plan is to divide it.
Bolan was already on his way to the sea. It's a pretty long run.
And Bianca checked on Bella's painting. Not bad for a start! Bella's traits are Absent minded, Easily impressed and Shy. The artistic trait is missing, but maybe the shyness will form a decent painting talent anyway? Painting is one of the very few ways a child can bring in some money.
Bridgette headed over to Archie. They have something going on, but the situation is still rather new to them. They are the first teenage couple, meaning there are no friends to advice them.
So, they headed for the place where they discovered the old graves. Archie's dad, Gabriel Greench, had already taken a quick look, but he didn't think it would change anything if some community had been here very long ago.
Back in the village Yvonne Yea-Low had stopped by at the Blumington hut.
Bianca always thought Yvonne was kind of different. When the local teacher pulled up the weirdest faces, Bianca's impression was confirmed. But what was Yvonne whispering? Voices? Maybe Yvonne was in need of some help?
At the Greench Farm Gabriel was busily planning to expand the production.
It was getting late, time for a short break before hitting the beds.
Even if a bistro could not be run with a profit in such a small community, Greta really wanted to serve free food just to pass on cooking traditions. What if the settler generation pass away while they all still eat fresh food only? How will the next generation understand the pride and joy of good cooking? She felt like it was her duty to pass on some kitchen enthusiasm while there was still time.
To be continued in just 2 days!
I've read the whole thing and I'm quite impressed. I will add this to my favourites and read it faithfully! Great job, it's clever and fun story, and many characters have a lot of personality and quirk. --Sirah--
