Welcome to SimBasic - a community legacy!
What happened next? Find out in the Greench Farm legacy!
4 couples stranded and founded a new community on Maccaroni Island. Currently the 3rd generation is about to start new families! This is a Sims3 community legacy that has been updated frequently for a full year, and contains about 100 chapters! Late July 2012 it came to an end and a new spin-off legacy focusing on just one of these households will bring the story forward, starting August 15, 2012.
The very first post is here, or use the Blog Archive to look back. Posts describing the project are tagged *. Please see the interactive map for household bios and family trees. Comments are welcome both here on the blog and on the SimBasic thread at the thesims3 forum. Even if there won't be more updates, I will still read your commnts.
Find all my stories and Sims projects gathered at my blog, Simmerville's Sims :)
I hope you will enjoy the read! :-)

Week 4 Day 6: Parent's worries
But nectar production requires something else than tomatoes and lettuce...
Good, the deal was settled. When Rendal would find some special grapes, she would be able to try different combinations. Maybe they should have just one apple tree as well, or wouldn't it be much easier to just sneak some apples from the others? Didn't alle the other three households grow lots of them? She could rather hand them a bottle to say thank you.
Rita brough the girls to the park, they could just as well play with their special dolls there (hey, Christopher had just one doll, now the twins have one doll each?!). And Rita could discuss the nectar making with Roger.
Rita ran into Bianca Blumington. She was rather worried about finances.
When Roger closed the consignment store and got back home, Rita told him that she had just aquired 10 more percent of the bank shares for only §2000. He had to admit that his wife had a good nose for business. They now own a total of 50% of the bank! This far hardly anyone owe money, but this will change shortly. When the interests starts building, the bank owners will get a nice pay on the first day of every week.
They got a visitor, Corinne Yea-Low.
Then Randal walked into his room and closed the door loudly. Almost like a diva.
It was getting late, but Christopher and Corinne were still playing in the treehouse.
Today was the birthday of the twins! They really look like their parents, in their own way. Constance (left) has the traits Athletic, Absent-minded and Workaholic. Dorothy (right) has the traits Athletics, Absent-minded and Snob.
Rita totally missed their birthday, because she was still dripping wet outside, calling down her son.
Yvonne was at the school library, reading a book some of the others had left there. It felt really refreshing reading something new!
But she had obligations at home. A son was born today, he was named Yoseph. He was a calm baby, but Yvonne still had to care for him because Yespar was busily inventing a nectar maker for Rita Redward.
While Yoseph was silent, Alex was not. He demanded even more of his mother's time than before, and Yvonne disliked running about like a servant. But she had resigned, in a short while they would be done with all this.
Late at night Yvonne got out of bed. She was half asleep, but someone called for her. It was her treasure from the little island, the evil creatures that had tricked her into taking them to the new land. They were still inside a box that she placed in the bookcase. It wasn't the first time they called her, but it had never felt as strong and suggestive as tonight.
Yespar heard Yvonne leaving the bedroom, and then he heard her confused voice just outside. He naturally got up to see what was going on.
Yespar did recall the episode on the smaller island long ago. The early morning when he found Yvonne in trance, talking to herself on the Northern Beach. But now he chose to say nothing.
To be continued in 2 days!
