Welcome to SimBasic - a community legacy!
What happened next? Find out in the Greench Farm legacy!
4 couples stranded and founded a new community on Maccaroni Island. Currently the 3rd generation is about to start new families! This is a Sims3 community legacy that has been updated frequently for a full year, and contains about 100 chapters! Late July 2012 it came to an end and a new spin-off legacy focusing on just one of these households will bring the story forward, starting August 15, 2012.
The very first post is here, or use the Blog Archive to look back. Posts describing the project are tagged *. Please see the interactive map for household bios and family trees. Comments are welcome both here on the blog and on the SimBasic thread at the thesims3 forum. Even if there won't be more updates, I will still read your commnts.
Find all my stories and Sims projects gathered at my blog, Simmerville's Sims :)
I hope you will enjoy the read! :-)

Week 6 Day 2: Sweet little thing
This is the west side, before the Redwards moved their house. They will reside above Arrival Bay. The village can be seen in the forest. There are more plants, but some disappear when zooming out.
Well, the Redwards were first to leave the village. They didn't go very far, but they will definitely have more privacy here on the west side. And Rita was very pleased.
There is so much to be done when moving. And lots to explore in a new area.
Back in the village, Yvonne was on her way to the Village administration house. That's where she worked regularly to plan their community. Roger Redward would join her occasionally, but most days he was too busy at his Consignment store or checking what the sea had thrown onto the beach during the night. Recently he found several crates with shoes, very practical as most of the new generation were using self made sandals.
Today Yvonne brought Agnes to work. Yespar and the other 3 children were busy helping the Greench farmers to move their house to their new plot of land.
Meanwhile, the Redward twins had walked into the southern woods. They knew about the stranger that was obviously hiding somewhere on the island, so they stayed near the coast where the landscape was rather open.
Suddenly Constance noticed a funny little animal on the ground.
It's not that hard to understand why Constance wanted this furry little thing, is it?
At the Village administration house Yvonne was concentrating on the community plan. She didn't notice that Agnes was heading for the doorway... a nightmare was coming up...
Oh... a shadow on the grass, who's there?
Yvonne did hear Agnes screaming and immediately she ran out. But she was stopped at the door by a terrible sight!
Yvonne had to get back in, she never was a coward, but all those animals - there must have been 20 of them, maybe 30? And they were very aggressive. Yvonne knew she was a lousy mother, and she knew that right now a perfect mother would have knocked aside those monsters, and rushed through the herd to save Agnes. Yvonne was scared, and she didn't feel the instincts that a good mother should. But still, 30 seconds later she opened the door to start a fight. Most of the animals had left, just a couple of them were sniffing the ground rather peacefully, like they had been observed doing lately. But Agnes was gone!
Had they brought the toddler to their cave? How could they have? Yvonne feared the worst, as she searched the ground for any piece of Agnes' clothes. But she found no trace at all!
Over at the west side, Constance was entering the house. Her plan was to sneak into her brothers' bedroom, then arrange for a way to hide the little forest furball.
Ah... almost caught by Randal, but it must have been too dark in the hallway for him to see anything...
Then Dorothy appeared. She was a bit grumpy, she had refused to walk back home together, she didn't like her sister's plan at all.
The rooms are equally sized. Both have a bunk bed, and a tiny table with a candle. Constance made a pet bed in the corner and found the ball she got from Father when she was a child. The idea was to place the table in front of it all, hiding the little animal. This was needed as they had no doors, only arches.
So, Constance checked the refrigerator, and brought some leftover to feed Cairo in the bedroom.
Now, would Cairo like toast with peanut butter? Hopefully...
Hooray! No more hungry Cairo!
Tonight was Randal's birthday. He is now an adult, and his full list of traits is Athletic, Insane, Workaholic, Star quality and Eco-friendly. Now, will Corinne Yea-Low like this kind of man?
And then it was time for all to get some sleep...
Everyone except from Yvonne Yea-Low. She was still in the forest desperately searching for Agnes. She had called Yespar, he and Corinne were looking elsewhere. And Alex had checked at home.
But Agnes was nowhere to be found...
To be continued in 2 days!

Oh no, Agnes is missing. I hope she finds her baby.
ReplyDeleteWell this is certainly interesting, I think she is okay, but I don't understand what they want with her. Love the additions of pets, I don't have it so I love to see them. And the I'm guessing it's a cat, in reality is super cute. I love it. Hopefully it doesn't turn mean or evil later, so cute.
ReplyDeleteCairo is so cute!! <3 The dogs that took Agnes are cute as well, even if they are a little too aggressive (to say the least).
ReplyDeletePoor Yvonne. Maybe she was so burnt out from her other kids that she just had no more energy for poor Agnes? I guess that's what happens when you have older parents; you tend to get the shorter end of the stick. Hopefully, she'll return safe and sound.
Hmm, I hope that Redward boy listening in on the girls' discussion about Cairo wasn't Randal, or else word will definitely get to Rita and Roger. *shakes finger disapprovingly at Randal*
Hi figen, Anoua and mmmcheezy225 :D I appreciate your comments so much! I'll admit I felt a bit evil about Agnes' story, but she is pretty safe for the time being, at least.
ReplyDeleteDid none of you notice the shadow looks a bit human like? Yvonne was still inside, the shadow wasn't hers... taa daaa :D
Cairo looks like those dogs maybe a baby?I really don't know.
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous, you might be right, or you might be wrong - read on to find out, hehe :D Thanks for commenting!
