Welcome to SimBasic - a community legacy!

What happened next? Find out in the Greench Farm legacy!

4 couples stranded and founded a new community on Maccaroni Island. Currently the 3rd generation is about to start new families! This is a Sims3 community legacy that has been updated frequently for a full year, and contains about 100 chapters! Late July 2012 it came to an end and a new spin-off legacy focusing on just one of these households will bring the story forward, starting August 15, 2012.

The very first post is here, or use the Blog Archive to look back. Posts describing the project are tagged *. Please see the interactive map for household bios and family trees. Comments are welcome both here on the blog and on the SimBasic thread at the thesims3 forum. Even if there won't be more updates, I will still read your commnts.

Find all my stories and Sims projects gathered at my blog, Simmerville's Sims :)

I hope you will enjoy the read! :-)

Week 4 Day 7: The blue truth

For the first time Gabriel Greench finds they got mail! Either someone wanted to leave a message but didn't want to meet in person, or the message was so important that it had to be written.
Well, it turned out to be the former. Yvonne obviously didn't want to waste time talking with the farmers.

And Greta was told, but she was less upset than the others...

They got ready, and headed for the east side of Maccaroni. On his way, Gabriel noticed that Roger Redward was still at the Consignment store.

So, is the plan that the Greench and Blumington households will do all the physical work around here? Gabriel disliked it strongly, but they went on building the new bridge, and anyone building a bridge want the bridge to last forever, so they put great pride into their work.

Many hours later on the beach.

The beach is lovely. Simple but lovely. Just the sand, the ocean and the sky. And a couple teenagers exploring their new feelings.

Meanwhile in the park, Bianca and Bella were roasting some food. It was Bella's birthday, she just became a teen. Her new trait is Unflirty. To Bianca it was exciting to see Bella growing up because they could now talk about painting in a more career like way. Bianca wanted to build a gallery and maybe could Bella be involved, too.

But there was one more important issue now that Bella was old enough to understand...

Bella didn't take it too well, and Bianca never expected her to.

A little later Bridgette was back home from her date with Archie. Bianca had to tell her, too...

Okay, so Bianca's wording turned out a bit strange. She told Bella that they were not considered CA66 DNA, while she told Bridgette that they do have the CA66 DNA. Truth is that the skin colour is part of the CA66 DNA, so they actually have the DNA even if the shade of blue is rather light.

So, will the girls run away like their mom once did? Or will it be cool to be different?

To be continued in just 2 days! :-)

  3. Wow,exciting! Can't wait to see how this plot twist works out. Bridgette is really sweet looking sim.
Are you going to introduce pets onto the island? Maybe those "wild animals" from the first island that migrate? I'm so excited about Pets! --Sirah--

  5. Thank you all for commenting :D I hope they will accept their heritage, too! And about pets, yes there will be some animals, wild life animals. It will be a bit dumb that they can't just get any pet, but I assume I can't avoid strays, so we'll see.
PS: Sirah; the wild animals you refer to might be something else than you think ;D
