Welcome to SimBasic - a community legacy!

What happened next? Find out in the Greench Farm legacy!

4 couples stranded and founded a new community on Maccaroni Island. Currently the 3rd generation is about to start new families! This is a Sims3 community legacy that has been updated frequently for a full year, and contains about 100 chapters! Late July 2012 it came to an end and a new spin-off legacy focusing on just one of these households will bring the story forward, starting August 15, 2012.

The very first post is here, or use the Blog Archive to look back. Posts describing the project are tagged *. Please see the interactive map for household bios and family trees. Comments are welcome both here on the blog and on the SimBasic thread at the thesims3 forum. Even if there won't be more updates, I will still read your commnts.

Find all my stories and Sims projects gathered at my blog, Simmerville's Sims :)

I hope you will enjoy the read! :-)

Week 2 Day 4: The hunt

East of the beach, the Greench garden is growing. Gabriel has built cribs for the twins, LaShawn and Jess. The everyday activities actually go fine even without a lot of stuff.

Well, the beach itself can never create a conflict, it always takes a couple persons- might be easier to blame it on the beach though...

Bianca had to pass the Greench home in order to walk to the West side. So, Greta was waiting prepared in the garden, suggesting to join. No problem! They both headed for Yvonne Yea-Low.

But nobody was at home. The Yea-Low place was perfectly tidy, and two chairs could have given Greta a rest.
The Redward home is pretty close to the Yea-Low home. Even so, the distance was more than enough for Greta...

Luckily, Rita Redward was at home! Hum, why is she always carrying her sunglasses this way? Did she ever actually use them? And how come they didn't fall off her head during that stormy night in the sea?

So, either Rita didn't know, or she was involved with the secrets...

So Rita obviously didn't know much. Could it be that simple, Yespar and Roger were just working on the cell phone invention? Bianca was a bit upset, she knew she just made a fool of herself.
Well, walking like Greta, I doubt she will get home before dark. Starting now would be a good idea nevertheless.

When it got seriously dark, Gabriel and Bolan met on Arrival Beach. They had agreed to look for those wild animals. Seeing them, locating them, and at least finding out what they are...
They hurried up the hill. But the sound stopped - and started again on a different location. How weird!
If it was a large bird they would have seen it flying, and even hear the sound of flapping wings. But except from the Uuuu-uuuu-uuuu there was just total silence. There had to be several individs communicating.

Gabriel and Bolan had almost reached the highest spot on the island, but then the sound changed directions again.

Are they just invisible? Or do they live under the sand? Or is it all imagination?

If Gabriel had climbed just a little higher, and looked to his right, he would have discovered the larger Maccaroni land out there in the sea. But he didn't. Instead he found it wiser to do like Bolan just did, running back home.

To be continued in 2 days!
