Yvonne and Yespar are both dedicated bookworms, and have read all there is to be read...
Actually, Roger had no idea about the wild life. They might very well run into a lion, but let's hope not! If there was wild animals on the tiny island they just left, there will most likely be more animals on a much bigger location like Maccaroni.
Roger brought the group into the huge forest, he had seen a flat area, with a water source and fertile soil, where he suggested them to reconstruct their shelters. It was nearly 1 hour's walk from the Arrival Bay, where they just spent the night. It might have been safer to settle closer to the seaside, but if they stayed close, they would be able to protect themselves from any dangers showing up.
The Greench got to pick their plot first, because they still insist on dealing with food supplies. The other families found themselves a flat and firm plot, and according to Roger's plan there would be a small gathering place in the center, where the consignment store including bathroom facilities would be rebuilt.
Then they started the heavy task of bringing their belongings all the way from the bay. It must have been quite a struggle. But to skip the extreme details, and jump on with the story, let's just say it was a very busy day, and they all managed to somehow getting established.
Bianca wasn't happy though, what's the point of a huge forest when you really love the ocean?
The Blumingtons prefer to eat fish, anyway.
Over at the Redwards, Rita was already making further plans. Being a bit sarcastic wasn't a good move on this day when everyone was exhausted.
But Roger was only half done after reconstructing their hut. A store needed attention, too!
They organized the settlements around a small park in the middle. They will all walk over to the park to use the toilet and shower, and perhaps also buy something from Roger's consignment store. Although the lots are much bigger than before, they will spend less time walking.
Well, this boy sure knows to manipulate his parents. Randal was right, he had helped his Father, and it would just be fair yo get something in return. A tree house was even within reach, but Roger felt trapped.
They returned to the hut.
A little later Rita and Roger relaxed outside.
Since when did Yespar Yea-Low invent dolls? Hmmm... Rita walked into Randal's bedroom. They had put together some bunk beds in a hurry, as there would soon be need for more beds.
After reading Randal to sleep, Rita had to share her frustration with Roger.
Is there a hope for this boy? Or is he simply a truly spoiled Redward?
To be continued in two days!
