Week 3 Day 6: Exploring Maccaroni

Yesterday Roger and Yvonne walked the west side of Maccaroni land, while Bolan and Gabriel walked the east side. The idea is that if they ever meet, they will know that Maccaroni is an island. This is the second day, and if they don't meet during the day they will need to return to the beach where they started.

Yvonne and Roger spent the night on a sand filled location near the sea.

Maybe they should have turned right a few minutes ago? Or can they climb up the hill over there?

Yvonne doesn't know Bolan very well, but she knows that she prefer the Redwards' class over the Blumingtons any day.

Talking about the sun...

So, Gabriel and Bolan were heading for the sandy place where Yvonne and Roger spent the night. Which they naturally didn't know, because they didn't notice that they just passed the other team.

Back in the village Rita was trying to converse with her son, Randal. It was such a big challenge, that she had to relax in the lounge chair.

Right! Demanding is not wrong, but must be done in a polite and strategic way. Rita knows all about that.

Randal turned, and hey!

Finally some peace!

But will Roger ever get back home? They had reached the area the other team walked through last night. Dead trees and a different and faded ground.

The lime fruits! She had a few of them locked aside at home, together with another treasure from the Northern Beach. Why didn't she plant some of them? None of the other houses grew lime...
Yvonne felt a sudden urge to spend some time here among the wilted vegetation. Being a knowledge seeker, she likes to find the answers before she moves on. But Roger didn't stop.

At the same time, Gabriel and Bolan just reached the beach where they started. They had completed their walk and knew that they are just a short walk from the village.

They went home, and spread the word that Maccaroni most definitely is an island. There was no big fuss over the missing team, because the land is an island, it shouldn't take them long to find their way back during the night, even if they got lost.

Rita found that the twins did reach toddler stage already! Hm, did I ever mention that Rita's pregnancy during the transport to Maccaroni Island, resulted in twin girls? Dorothy and Constance - both with traits Athletic and Absent-minded.

No proper birthday celebration. Mom ws too tired... or just too alone... She opened a bottle of nectar that Roger brought from the consignment store a few days ago when he had found some new crates on the beach. Among the content there was several bottles of nectar, that he was now selling at his the store.

It was getting late, and Rita rightfully began to worry. Where was Roger? Gabriel and Bolan returned to the village many hours ago, and they had not even seen the other two. She tried to call Roger, but didn't get contact. Maybe they were behind the tall mountain?

Rita sipped some more nectar, then she went to bed.

Meanwhile, Roger and Yvonne realized that they had walked too far without running into the others, and should rather return to the beach where they started. But it was too dark already, and they decided to stop for the night. This wicked place, they intended to walk just a little longer - maybe the surroundings would change after the next hill top?

And the story goes on in just 2 days! Then the focus will be on the Blumingtons, who won the recent poll.
