Week 2 Day 7: Everyone involved

The day after Roger swam to the Maccaroni land, was set to be a very busy day. There was a lot to prepare before everyone could follow. Yespar realized he was the one to inform everyone.

A rather bossy Yespar, but he had no choice. The point of having a briefing was to save time by informing every household in one go. Word spreads...

Well, I'd personally not worry if I was facing a rescue. But maybe Gabriel was happy with their quiet life, as it was.

One hour later they all gathered on Arrival Beach. They were all enthusiastically awaiting the news Yespar had for them.

Yvonne was a little surprised that her husband had kept this a secret. She would gladly step in for him, but had to admit that she could not lead the briefing without being better informed.

The news naturally trigged lots of questions.

A voting? Some actually wanted them to stay? Who was that?

Without further discussion, there wee suddenly a wide accept - they had to move on.

After the briefing, they all marched up to the island's tallest hill, and there they met Rita and Bolan, too. And really - there , right before their eyes the other land unfolded! They just stood there for a while, words were not really needed, they all knew they were looking at their future home.

Then they walked back home to their small huts. They had only tomorrow for taking down their huts and bring everything to the northern side of the island. They didn't have many belongings to pack, but there was still stuff to be planned and prepared.

Greta and Gabriel discussed the news.

They had a quick birthday celebration, and the gift for LaShawn and Jess was an exciting adventure trip on a raft the following day, sailing across the sea! The boys thought it sounded fantastic, and now they can't wait to sail away. Ha!

The lack of beds was a problem, but LaShawn solved it with ease.

A little before 8 PM, Yespar walked up to the highest point. To his surprise he found Rita standing there, gazing at the Maccaroni land.

It was a terrible disappointment to them both. No signal could mean there was no Roger. That could also mean that it wasn't safe to move to the Maccaroni land.
