Welcome to SimBasic - a community legacy!

What happened next? Find out in the Greench Farm legacy!

4 couples stranded and founded a new community on Maccaroni Island. Currently the 3rd generation is about to start new families! This is a Sims3 community legacy that has been updated frequently for a full year, and contains about 100 chapters! Late July 2012 it came to an end and a new spin-off legacy focusing on just one of these households will bring the story forward, starting August 15, 2012.

The very first post is here, or use the Blog Archive to look back. Posts describing the project are tagged *. Please see the interactive map for household bios and family trees. Comments are welcome both here on the blog and on the SimBasic thread at the thesims3 forum. Even if there won't be more updates, I will still read your commnts.

Find all my stories and Sims projects gathered at my blog, Simmerville's Sims :)

I hope you will enjoy the read! :-)

Week 3 Day 5: The School

It's time to explore the Maccaroni land, and this morning the planning is on! In the park they gathered for a briefing, and Roger took the leading role, as usual.

Yespar is still working hard on connecting the cell phone signals, in order to achieve contact with any civilization. Walking the land would delay his work radically.

These kids are Bridgette Blumington and Jess Greench. Jess is the twin wearing a green thing on his left arm.

Before the walking, all the kids were invited to open the new school building. Well, it turned out to be a library, but also intended for studies, and Yvonne Yea-Low will not work there all day, but stop by to help kids getting started.

Well, kids born on a tiny island may not know exactly what a library is...

Yvonne wasn't feeling tip-top. She's been ill lately, no wonder with all the extraordinary activities, but she had started to worry. What was wrong?

Still she decided to do the walk. She joined Roger, Gabriel and Boland as they all left the village. They walked through the forest.
The beach is located south, and seamed like a good location. It reminded them all on Arrival Beach.

So, they split, and Yvonne and Roger walked to the west. Soon they came to the bay where they arrived Maccaroni, I think it will be called Arrival Bay.
It was already pretty late, and they walked on, facing the sun.

On the eastern side, Bolan and Gabriel followed the coast line, with the sea to their right. The land was quite open.

They walked down to the valley, and by placing some drifting trees onto rocks, somehow they managed to cross the water. There was a river flowing from the higher areas. They heard lots of birds, it was a pretty nice place.
Bolan and Gabriel went on. None of them were particularly interested in what others might think of others, but it was a long march, and then you talk about anything. They also discussed how the lack of electricity was a problem, and what attempts they could do to get rescued.

On the west side, the subject was quite different. Roger really talked about something he liked...

Yvonne is old fashioned. And she was also taken by surprise. But she was just a sim, and in a way she did appreciate Roger's remarks.
There is a limit! Or is there...

Gabriel and Bolan had moved into a darker area. The ground seamed unhealthy, and the vegetation was dead long ago.

Or at least slightly bigger.

Will they run into the other team, or is the Maccaroni land much bigger than anyone can imagine? Did Yvonne actually go skinnydipping? Can you take the wait? More to come in just 2 days! :D
